Nursension is operated by Enlightened Informatics ("we," "our," or "us"). Nursension is an AI-powered voice practice application designed for nursing and healthcare professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

By using Nursension, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Data — Name and email address, collected when you register via Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email/password.
• Voice Recordings & Transcripts — Audio captured through your device's microphone during practice sessions, and the resulting text transcripts.
• Evaluation Data — AI-generated scores, feedback, strengths, and areas for improvement from your practice sessions.
• Usage Data — Session history, app interactions, and feature usage patterns.
• Subscription Data — Subscription status and transaction records processed through Apple In-App Purchases. We do not directly handle or store your payment card information.
• Device Information — Device type, operating system version, and browser type for service optimization and troubleshooting.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide AI-powered interview practice and coaching sessions.
• Generate evaluations and personalized feedback on your performance.
• Process and transcribe voice sessions for review and improvement.
• Improve and optimize our service, content, and user experience.
• Manage your subscription and account.
• Send transactional communications (e.g., password resets, evaluation notifications).

To provide our core functionality, your data is processed by the following third-party AI services:

• Anthropic (Claude) — Session transcripts are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for evaluation and feedback generation. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy.
• VAPI — Real-time voice processing and transcription during practice sessions. Voice data is transmitted to VAPI's servers for processing.

Your voice data leaves your device and is transmitted to third-party servers for processing. We ensure all third-party providers maintain appropriate security standards.

We also use the following services to operate Nursension:

• Supabase — Database hosting and user authentication.
• Vercel — Web application hosting and deployment.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication and In-App Purchase processing.
• Google — Google Sign-In authentication.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• Data is encrypted at rest in our database (Supabase).
• All data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• Access controls and role-based permissions restrict data access to authorized personnel only.
• We regularly review our security practices and update them as needed.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. When your data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature within the app.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data and request a copy.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Delete your account and all associated data.

Account deletion is available in-app under Settings, or by emailing support@enlightenedinformatics.com.

Nursension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of Nursension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
